Our Classes
We are a group of believers in the new life. Our goal is to share our lives with others through our care for children at the Olive Branch Center.
What a great place to start
What matters to us at the Olive Branch Center is simple:
We provide a strong social and educational foundation that prepares your child for success in elementary school and beyond. Our center and classrooms are designed to give children space to grow, space to share, and space to be themselves. Here, children work together, enjoy constructive fun together, and discover how fun learning can be
The driving force behind this project is the love of work. This center hopes to be a place to encourage (local) educational personnel and people to develop in the field of child care.
Our mission was born to help the community thrive by working hand in hand with improving the knowledge and skills of Iraqi children and local leaders to achieve the change they desire, and we seek to bring hope and sustainable solutions to people in difficult situations.
Throughout our Center community, we share a commitment to fostering a culture where differences are valued, and interactions are free of bias. At Olive Branch Child Care Center, we nurture the next generation of future leaders. To do this, we place value on their unique identities, abilities, backgrounds and perspectives. It's part of fulfilling our pledge to make a difference and make a positive impact. We want our staff, teachers and every child in our care to feel comfortable sharing who they truly are. That's why it's important for us to ensure a wide range of diverse voices are recognized and represented.
Together we work hard to celebrate diversity, embrace our community, and create a sense of belonging where everyone thrives.
Iraq's population is growing rapidly, and 36% of its 38 million people are under 14 years of age. The recent wars and international blockade (1990-2003) also severely affected the educational level of the Iraqi citizen, and Iraqis are now thirsty for the knowledge and information that they have been deprived of for years. For example: It is located in Dhi Qar Governorate 52.000 Child aged 3-6 years, 11000 They only go to government or private kindergartens (KG). Because there is only 24 KG available. Most kindergartens are unable to cope with the number of children, so that sometimes more than 50 children in a classroom fit for 25 children. Poor quality of education due to overcrowding and the inability of kindergarten teachers. The kindergarten based on international standards of quality education is highly regarded in the community. While providing quality education, the Olive Branch Center aspires to be a place to develop and train Iraqi kindergarten teachers, and when they advance it will have an impact on the quality of kindergarten education.
That's why the Olive Branch Center originally started as a preschool and nursery and has operated that way over the past years. It serves 250 children between the ages of 2-6 years on an annual basis.
Our approach
Our experts lead by example and provide a positive and happy learning environment while ensuring that the child feels safe and secure. We focus on helping the child grow mentally and physically and provide updates to his parents/guardians about progress, useful tips and future goals. Every child is unique, so we pay special attention to their needs so they can enjoy being at the Olive Branch.
